Resources

Here I'm going to list a number of resources for you, some of which are free, and others paid.

Books

I recently bought Mastering Manga by mark Crilley, and I have to say, for the money it really was worth it.  Within a few minutes I was drawing male and female faces in full and 3/4 view with ease, and by my fourth face I had the eyes down as well in a style that I was happy with.  You can get it in kindle format as well which is what I did, but I ended up reading it in my online Kindle browser to make the images bigger.  If you do buy it in Kindle format, you won't be able to read the little comments Mark Crilley gives to the reader when he draws himself as Manga every few pages, but those little comments aren't critical to learning to draw the Manga.  Everything you need to know is right there, and he teaches you to draw different styles of Manga as well, including chibi.  He also gives a lot of great reference pictures for different positions, emotions, eyes, clothing, etc.
